NJSA 2A:44A-19 Attachment of Lien in Condo or Coop Unit

2A:44A-19. Attachment of lien in condo or coop unit 19. a. For work performed solely within a unit in a condominium or cooperative, the lien shall only attach to the interest of the owner in the condominium or cooperative unit. b. If an interest in real property is conveyed after work is performed but before a lien attaches to that property, then the lien shall attach to the real property retained by the owner, but shall not attach to the real property or interest therein previously conveyed.
